Actually gypsies are triggered by this word (ţigan), it somewhat ressembles the word nigger. The pc word is rom (sg), romi (pl).

Gitanos are forbidden in the clinic I work in. We employees are prohibited to even interact with them.
I'm surprised it took you so long, I expected it to be the first post.
Well they're a bit feral.
Gitanos in their unironical natural culture are and should be complete pariahs.
If a Gitano is born mixed, or in a proper household in a civilized country he'll turn out fine, if he still keeps a lot of contact with the Gypsy settlement he's going to turn out sour. Still they are the best that southern spa*n has to offer culturally and musically but they're complete outcasts and usually turn out criminals.
Too much freedom, but they are based.

Who the fuck cares, stop being criminal subhumans.
In Russian "tsygan" doesn't have any negative connotation, it's even learnt in school as it's one of the exceptions to the rule about spelling common names with ци/цы. But in some Russian-speaking Ukrainian papers and sites you can encounter the PC word "rom" which is a pretty funny, if a bit sad, attempt to appear progressive.
Zingaro or rom (not really ours, but we use it).
I'm surprised, tzigano/zigano here is really old-fashioned and considered less offensive than zingaro.
I'm not a gypsy or from the south of spain but they have a heavy cultural influence in southern spain and that's a good thing.
They are also super catholic in spain and generally ingrained in the culture.
Specially in the 90s and early 2000s before EDM they were a super big part of all of spain.
I'm sorry you're so autistic you don't understand what I'm talking about.

I am not in any way a gypsy and I'm generally precarious of them because they're dregs of society but they're a part of spain mr. baiter mulato. It's similar to niggers in the USA with rap and shit.

They are a part of Flamenco, a thing which is a cultural export and stereotype of Spain, while it's only a thing in the south of Spain. There are Rumba, Flamenco, and other Gypsy style music that aren't Gitanos.
This is what spain was in the 70s and 80s before it branched off into EDM, Punk subcultures and other stuff.
I am neither Southern Spaniard or a Gyppo but this is what we are talking about fellow gamers.
Dios mío el gitano de la Special Ed.

Well in Romanian Ţigan doesnt mean anything, it ressembles nigger in the sense that the word is associated with something vile. So naturally gypsies dont like being called by that word because it has a bad reputation. The reason it became a "bad" word is because you rarely speak about Țigani without saying something negative.
Which is correct cause they have Romanian citizenship.
