There is a good chance that some have also purchased a small stack of suicide insurance, but not necessary if they are still confident in their positions.

Then, there are the absolute brainlets of this board. These few, unfortunate retards are the ones who actually believe all of the fud and pasta. Worse yet, they even continue to spread it while thinking that they are intellectually superior to those who choose to hold Link. I feel like chainlink, requires you to put a little faith and assumptions on how the world will develop. Most cryptos are attempts to “get rich quick schemes” and most people in crypto are here exactly for that. Why should I do readings , on companies / here should I help people who don’t help themselves. I will not FUD this coin because that’s literally retarded. I think the short term trend for link is down for at least the next 6 months. Long term (2-4yrs) though, it's definitely going to moon. Personally I already hold 120k link and will not buy again unless it goes under ICO price (which it will). At which point I might buy another 130k to complete my 250k stash of stinky linkies. The value is NOT, imho, just in how information is exchanged. The value is in building arbitrarily complex business rules into an AUTONOMOUS agent that an execute on a contract. Because it is outside the control of either party, then, IF it is trustworthy, it solves a MAJOR problem that has been dogging contract law for thousands of years -- how can we, at low cost, enforce a contract.

This opens up extraordinary possibilities. The idea that this is going to ELIMINATE lawyers is stupid for at least two reasons
1) Lawyers are skilled at thinking through the potential downsides of a contract and planning for them AND, knowing when downside planning becomes overkill -- it's not worth it to try to anticipate EVERYTHING that can go wrong in a contract and its a judgment call to decide how much is too much planning
2) just as there are always going to be bugs in code, there are always going to be "bugs" in Smart Contracts, and lawyers will be important in sorting out the inevitable disputes that will still happen, e.g. the DAO hack and the arbitrary way that was handled, the more recent EOS issues with "lost" tokens.

It seems like chainlink will make lawyers and escrow type people unnecessary for financial contracts that 'would have settled with no hitches anyway.' The legal teams of the parties involved in a contract would be able to co author acceptable general SC's for the business relationship that their clients have, agree on arbitration terms in case of failed delivery, and then only need to intervene/bill to draft new contracts or argue over failed settlements. All the INSANE amounts of redundant paperwork and proofreading and printing and formalized procedure that happens every step of the way can hopefully just... Go away if the computers can be trusted to settlw things automatically. That's how I see CL adding value to the legal profession, but IANAL so I could be totally fucking wrong and deluded beyind belief.
