We own this strategy.

Our national selection process is nowadays controlled by elitist, incompetent idiots who are incapable of sending in anything decent, or at least something funny or different. They take the competition way too seriously, but still at the same time get horrible results.
Every year when I laugh at this cringefest, I end up cringing the most at our own performance over how few redeeming qualities it has. It's never even so bad it's good, it's just bad.
I don't know who we'll send this year, but I bet they're going to invite some uninteresting artist to make three new uninteresting songs to pick and choose from.
