Oh man you mean like The Ricky Gervais show? It was a podcast and they got someone to animate it. really turned a good show into a golden one. Thats a good idea though. I've thought about doing that but I don't have the money to pay an animator.

im at my best when working with pencils and ink
but pencils and ink dont make you no money so i try to learn digital stuff

ink is a whole lot of fun though. Do you like to employ etching, stipple, and cross-hatching techniques? How do you like doing illustrations and such?

yes thats basically the first thing you learn when working with pic rel
depends on how im feeling though sometimes i just go ham with a penbrush and just go between pure black to pure white

You can really lose time getting caught up in doing work with those. Like when you get into the zone and you're making something good. Its a lot of fun.

with any other tool i have complete faith in myself that i wont screw anything up but with that thing in particular im always stressing cause at any time a rouge bit of ink might just splash onto the work

you can see i fucked up, i actually fucked up more than once but i saved most of them with brushes or in photoshop

You can make mistakes easily but you get better at correcting things and redirecting mistakes.

I figured thats what you were talking about but in terms of the piece to an amateur, its just looks like a texture on the coat. Really its not deal breaker that makes the piece horrible. it anything it helps move the eye around. Its still nice to look at.

yeah i panicked and tried to make it onto some sort of weird shade but realized i cant cover up something so out in the open like that the same way i can cover up my other mistakes
i can easily photoshop it out though, my digital skills have improved since the 2 years before when i drew that

I wouldn't worry about it. I have so may pieces where I really truly fucked the whole piece up by overworking the paper or some shit like that. But in a non professional setting or to an untrained eye most of your stuff is probably really cool & fun to look at. I feel those pieces are a map of an artist's development. You might even wanna frame them one day when you get to then level you are seeking, just for backwards reference.
