You fell for her because she was hot (presumably) and immediately acted sweet and understanding, but of course that wasn't really all "her". Yes, she spoke to you for money and would probably talk to you a lot less if you didn't have any and stopped paying her, but she probably did genuinely like you to a degree. I did similar and it really is a mix of acting and genuinely connected with a person or else it would be somewhat difficult to "perform" for them, and I can assure you that if you were a regular she spent a lot of time with there was at least a little bit of real affection there, even if it wasn't fully romantic.
My point here is that while such a relationship realistically wouldn't go anywhere, at least enjoy the fact that a part of her most likely did actually like you and some of the chemistry you guys (presumably) had was likely real. You can take some of those skills and try applying them to non-sex worker girls, just don't expect things to go as smoothly as it would in a situation without any barriers.
