All true

After all this time it still feels strange that a certain Southeast Asian country seems to be unable to appreciate the fact that it is home to one of the largest if not the largest anime convention outside of Asia, and just shrugs it off. It's like they don't appreciate what they do have.

We're on our way there, but it will take years if not decades, and also a change in culture for it to happen. The political culture here is just too toxic and self-serving, and combined with the penchant for "instant gratification", we're being set back way too much.

Lmao your presence will surely bring some kekworthy pointless flame wars, I like your kind. Welcome to the family aus shitposter bro :^)

I don't really mean most of what I say

I'm more surprised that SG at best seems indifferent to the event when other countries can only stare with jealously.

Yes and it's gone to shit so hard that even Mahathir thinks they're an embarrassment and wants to set up yet ANOTHER car company.

What's Malaysia's excuse for being so shitty compared to Singapore
