It's not going to be difficult for the casino to provide the player with the FUN tokens (basically "selling" it to the end user for cash) and have them represented as a dollar value to the user. You know clunky shit like MetaMask isn't always going to be the standard - don't you? And even at that, MetaMask isn't that difficult to use once a normie gets a hold of it.

I wouldn't call it really "worse", it's not a big deal to go to the casino and have a "click this button to install metamask addon for fun gambling!", or whatever more convenient addons may appear in the near future. Especially if they know the house won't fuck them over.
I don't think they will need to purchase ETH to make the transactions though. There's no reason when you input your cash (from paypal or credit card or whatever they use) that it the casino can't automatically sell the equiv amount of FunFair into the MetaMask wallet of that user and then have it read into the browser as a real time dollar value for them to see.
