nope

This

United States? Very patriotic

Colombia? We generally think we're the best so, yes

Brazilians desperately want to be Americans. It's actually kind of creepy how obsessed they are with us.

I think you should switch "putch"(putsch) with coup d'état

thanks

this but unironically. i'm literally first generation american and you won't believe how much jelly people show as soon as they discover about this (probably because i'm obviously not your stereotyped looking american that midia portrays so they think i've "cheated" by being son of immigrants). It literally fucked a lot of friendships i had, it's really fucking creepy and bizarre

Most Latin American countries look towards the US and try to emulate it, and that's not a bad thing. I don't get why you're insulting them. The new world is in this thing together.

We don't, we take whatever is proven to work no matter where it is as long it's not some african shithole

Yikes
Ew

Lol no one gives a shit about that retard

yeah right, maybe in the upper class. the middle and lower classes in brazil have an insanely delusional view regarding USA thanks to stupid high school movies that passed on public television channels back in the day. a lot of people think of the us citizenship as some pass to the wonderland where people don't need to work and party all day. Not to mention the whole en masse jaw dropping that you get in a group of people when a friend of yours says that you were born in america like it's some sort of achievement in life. And this occurs only with americans specifically, i've seen a lot of people reacting to other nationalities (even yuropoors) and no one gets so excited compared to the attention that the simple word "american" gets here

Are these the mythical south Brazilians I've been hearing so much about lately?

Why of course

just to complement my post: bbc.com/portuguese/internacional-45204418

is there really any other group of people on the planet more obsessed with america than brazilians with access to internet? i dont think so

>they have light skin therefore they're white

I see some sandy hair on some of them.

I love the people that even in complete shit tries to improve our country, while there are cowards that only complain and point out our failures hoping that someday they will move to another country to be an dishwasher

USA is 3rd world dictatorship patriotic. Celebrating independence day doesn't make your country patriotic it makes it normal. Unless every house in your neighborhood has flags in their yard and on their house, it's not patriotic.

The adjective is "Patriotic."

I swear Brazilians have some of the worst English on this website.

is there a more schizophrenic type of person than race purists?

I guess. Our diaspora abroad is always waving flags. I'm not a patriot cause I'm not brainlet though

You can thank the Amerimutts globalizing the English language for its total destruction by non-Native speakers propagating mistakes among each others (example: all Latin language speakers).
