Didn't realise how mank Grolsch is until this evening lads. Had to drink it till 'cos it was the only thing in the fridge. Left a bitter taste in my mouth both figuratively and literally.

I quite liked it for a while but didn't like it the last time I had it which was almost a year ago.

Is that the reddit April Fool's thing?

I don't use reddit so I've no idea what you're talking about. That pic is from pixelzone, a multiplayer artwork creation game. Help Ireland make it's mark on the map.

If I wanted to start drinking coffee, what is the best thing to ask for at a coffee shop to get started? I tried coffee before and I wasn't a fan, but I feel like it's almost a necessity at the moment given how few coffee shops can do a decent cup of tea.

Attached: 1544569166495.png (1086x1080, 875K)

Faggot. Why aren't you helping?
pixelzone.io/?p=-3890,2084,8

I don't give a shit about reddit nonsense.

Just drink espresso. Sometimes I'll get an Americano. I make coffee milk often at home too (1part espresso 2-3 pats milk) for breakfast.

I've never heard of someone considering "living for the present" as a negative before.

Well that's pathetic

>lifetime bachelor here, my hobbies are traveling, being a foodie, watching netflix, and just hanging out

That's u

What should the /éire/ coordinated image be?

Americano is a standard coffee which you can drink plain or add milk/sugar to it if you please.
I find it bitter personally and prefer a latte which includes steamed milk or a mocha which is chocolaty.
My top public anxiety tip would be to acquire a coffee machine like a nespresso, dolce gusto or tassimo and try out the different flavours at home if you want to avoid ordering things you find you intensely dislike after one sip and embarrassing yourself in front of friends and co-workers.

Attached: 1542910187947.gif (500x281, 951K)

Or you could just not drink it.

It makes sense to live for the future but the image is almost bemoaning the fact that society around them isn't living for the past.
What's wrong with any of those things?

or you could not post and not come back

you are wrong

>you are wrong
I don't think I am

t. Starbucks marketing agent

I would advise against going to soycucks.
Go to an independent chain, get a latte.

I hear Ireland is the place that Croatians look to emigrate to these days, the same way the Irish look to Canada or Australia. How true is this?

i will hurl a thot into space if I have to

>I find it bitter personally and prefer a latte which includes steamed milk or a mocha which is chocolaty.
It's the bitterness of coffee that I struggle with, so would a Latte be better to start with?

>My top public anxiety tip would be to acquire a coffee machine like a nespresso, dolce gusto or tassimo and try out the different flavours at home if you want to avoid ordering things you find you intensely dislike after one sip and embarrassing yourself in front of friends and co-workers.
While that is indeed good advice, I'm not wasting money on something I might only use twice.

>so would a Latte be better to start with?
Yes.

Thanks. I will report back in due course.

I don't see the point in forcing yourself to drink something you don't like to begin with.

A lot of things are acquired tastes which take some time to adjust to. Learning to like coffee would broaden horizons and open up a lot of different hot drink options instead of just tea.

>Learning to like coffee would broaden horizons
Can I put it on my CV?

Attached: 1531090169067.jpg (784x579, 282K)

Describe yourself and your political views.

I got a Tassimo for my Mam for Christmas, and whilst it was €60, I seen it for €35 in DID Electrical.

I don't think it's worth it since I never drank coffee before getting it and after I only had the Americano which is essentially a colder instant coffee because it doesn't boil the water, and instant coffee is infinitely better value

I'd only recommend it if you wanted different coffees like a cappuccino or Colombiano or whatever since you can buy tabs for them but they're quite expensive for what you get, even if the big shops rotate special offers and discounts on them

Attached: giphy (2).gif (500x439, 560K)

Mammy said the cappuccino is quite sweet btw, and I only bought it for her since she wanted something that'd make cappuccinos

fuck non-whites i'm a redpilled gael

Is Eirtakon any good? Q-Con is shit

Even if you don't like coffee it has some nice hot chocolates and iced teas.

Attached: 71vwZQxdcqL._SX385_[1].jpg (385x385, 23K)

The guy sounded good, he does a BBC show that my Dad watches and it's meant to be good for diabetes so when I heard it I told my Dad since he has diabetes

If you listen to it, he lost 10 kilos, I don't have 10 kilos to lose but I might try it in the future

I think if you're trying to lose weight you should give it a go, it's early in the year, New Year's resolutions and all :)

Eirtakon ended in 2016

Is it time for a visit to /cgl/ again?

no

There are also occasions where you're only offered coffee rather than a choice between tea and coffee. And then there are the occasions where the tea is available, but it's shite.

What's with the Babylonian looking lad?

Bewleys hot chocolate is gorgeous, I'd recommend that if you wanted hot chocolate

Attached: MSrQ.gif (480x720, 480K)

Thanks user, I never tried it but may do so. I usually drink Butlers hot chooclate with the melting pieces but I could be persuaded to try something different.
It's getting cold enough for some lately.

Attached: 1547814868343.png (800x800, 154K)

not a fan of hot chocolate
cant see why youd ever go for it over tea

For me it's iced mochas

Based and tea-pilled.

Attached: 1538111393201.png (700x1017, 982K)

Don't like tea, coffee OR hot chocolate without at least 4 tea spoons of demerara sugar

Used to need at least 8 but I've got it down recently
White sugar is disgusting

Why bother drinking anything other than water if you're just going to douse it in sweeteners anyway?

how did 50 year old culchies find this general

>culchies
How did Dubs find this thread?

Attached: 1518224500230.jpg (1920x2039, 350K)

Because they taste nice and have caffeine

Do you only drink water?

laughing at the bogtrotters that watch anime because if any of their inbred village found out they'd be killed and ate by their fellow culchies

How can you tell if they taste nice if you douse them in sweeteners?

I douse them in sweetners since they don't taste nice without them :)

You've never actually set foot outside of Dublin, have you?

Attached: 1519784087914.jpg (667x960, 484K)

So you've told all the 50 year old farmers that you're into pedo cartoons?

I don't know many farmers of that particular vintage.

Attached: 1522317306506.jpg (650x918, 110K)

Stop lying the only place your rural shitholes have are grass, farms, churches, pubs, a shop and every inhabitant is over sixty stop trying to pretend your little shithole you live in squalor in is some kind of paradise. I'm just doubting the religious freaks would accept anime or even know about it without burning it all for being satanic or whatever.

>start of the college year
>all of the culchie students have the same mediocre Toshiba laptop that was on offer in PC World, equipped with Windows 10 and all of the latest bloatware preinstalled
Why do they do this?

Start the Tús job tomorrow

been informed there's a good looking female of a corresponding age to myself working there

Attached: 1540893887210.jpg (325x346, 14K)

In my experience, that was far from exclusive to culchies. There was an almost even split between the Macbook/unnecessarily high end laptop crowd and those that bought the first thing they saw on sale in PC World.

What is the job?

Were you required to take it since it's a Tús job?

What's Tús? And what kind of job?

youtube.com/watch?v=lpW6C56VQUY

>Were you required to take it
Yes but I don't mind since it's an extra few quid for doing a little work

It's in a charity shop, would be comfy if not for the potential female interaction, the break room is tiny lads

Attached: I have renounced the love of women takezo.jpg (1920x1080, 493K)

>the break room is tiny lads
That's no excuse to ask her to sit on your lap.

It was nearly entirely macbooks in my experience. A lot of people had cheap Dell or Asus laptops but they didn't seem to bring them to class very often.

I'd say that the breakdown depends heavily on the type of course you're attending.
