Where to travel as a couple

Hello int, sorry if this appears as a bait thread I swear it isn't. I never post here and I assumed this would be the place for this, I'm just an idiot that can't make up his mind.

tl;dr me and my girlfriend want to travel internationally at least once before we are bogged down with kids, and I can't really decide where.

List of considered places, and my current thoughts on them (I'm well open to change my mind, please enlighten me if I'm wrong)

Cost is an issue obviously, I'm not dirt poor but I'm not living in a damn mansion, id like to keep the trip total under 6-10k if possible.
I don't mind sleeping in a small room or whatever, but I avoid hostels or anything without a private room like the plague, If I was by myself I'd be ok with it, but with my girl? 100% no.

>Germany / Austria
Pros:
The landscape is beautiful looking, and castles are fucking neat.
Cons:
Merkel and everything that goes along with her

>Ireland
Pros:
The villages, everything about the place just looks like id be a nice visit
Cons:
my fucking girlfriend wants to bring her fucking mom if we go to Ireland, so it better be a breathtaking place to outweigh that

>Northern Scotland
Pros:
The cliffs and such look utterly fantastic
Cons:
From what I understand can be fairly expensive.
>Australia
I honestly don't know, nothing sticks out as worth the money

>Japan
Pro:
Borderline alien culture, that fact is very neat to me and itll feel like a completely foreign place, a feeling I doubt id get in Europe.
cons:
fucking weeb shit.

By no means am I limited to above, those are just my current thoughts on places.

Help a retard out int

Ask in /trv/

i'm sorry, I'm a wee bit drunk and forgot trv existed, thought international fit the bill.

my bad carry on with whatever yall do here

Not sure if you're considering South America, but I just came back from Cuzco, Peru and it was truly a wonderful experience. I went with my boyfriend and it's a very charming city, with lots of upscale restaurants and beautiful hotels/apartments. It's always kind of chilly which adds to the atmosphere, not to mention the cultural aspect which is very fascinating. Things are quite affordable as well. There are plenty of Americans there so you'll feel at home in a way. But also it's South America and geographically and culturally it's very different from what you're probably used to, so it will be an adventure as well. Not sure what you're looking for though, seems like you're mostly thinking about the developed world

All the europeans are asleep rn. Ask again when its euro hours.

If Australia doesn't stand out to you probably don't come here. We have beautiful forrests and beeches but it doesn't sound like that is your aort of thing.

Not sure what beauty you see in Ireland though. Its just mostly just flat green fields and sort of ugly houses. The only place in the British Ilse i found to be actually beautiful was the Scottish Highlands.

Edinburgh looks nice too

As a tourist you really won't notice Merkel and her legacy in Germany. I think if you want to see nice old architecture, that sort of stuff. Then Germany is not a bad choice.

Nigga.
It's very nice you've listed your cost limit, but you somehow managed to miss the part where you specify how long do you want the trip to last. With 6k and a week you could take your butler along, but if that's going to be a six month adventure, things will get harder.
Second, you've failed to list what you're looking for specifically. We can only sort of guess it from the pros/cons, which include highlights like "Australia - dunno lol, kinda sucks, brought it up for the lulz". Just the fact you're traveling with your gf gives us nothing to go on. Do you prefer nature or civilization? Hot or cold climate? History or just pretty sights? Are you and the bird at least somewhat adventurous or would you rather the trip went smoothly without a single hitch? Are you afraid of the language barrier? Any particular interest in a specific region of the world?
Third, your cons are beyond stupid. Falling for Jow Forums memes as if it somehow affects your trip, listing Scotland as expensive while not doing it for Japan, "fucking weeb shit" whatever that is even supposed to mean in the context of a trip and so on.

wtf i love poland now
