Already used that one, but OP is way bettter as we can see actual rivers, current borders and territories are cut way more accurately than this one, there's not even Ile-de-France in that one which is non-sense as it is one of the wealthiest region in Europe.

I can see what you're trying to do, but Savoy was always ethnically French despite being ruled by Italians. They spoke Franco-Provençal, not Italian.
As for Nice, they actually spoke a dialect of Occitan but were closer culturally to Italy so I can kind of see where you're coming from.
