I wish these asian artists would portray asian costumes correctly
historicity is important and if we had immersion factors like people do with romans than foreigners wouldn't make fun of chinese history so much
it's all your fault

even when I go to Chinese national museum in Beijing they have clearly fake fantasy tier armours on display
though they are labelled as not being genuine it is in such tiny print hidden away the average person would never know.
meanwhile there is a big sign saying ancient Chinese armour or some shit coming from the bronze age or whatever when that is clearly bullshit
Noah Martin
If the west can have fantasy bullshit armor on european warriors they can have fantasy bullshit costumes too.
Just watch any TV show with vikings in it, they always have some patterned leather armor with fur capes and straps everywhere.

And it's shit tier, if it was historically accurate it would be 10x better
Christopher Fisher
because Americans are just as bad as Chinese when it comes to peddling total bullshit as the genuine article
When I go to America it is absolutely full of these "genuine fakes" and so forth yet people take them as if they are the real thing, if not better than reality.
Landon Miller
except it's all fantasy bull shit, there are virtually not drawings of realistic armor
Henry Diaz
>dragon shaped shit everywhere
>weights 60% of every armour and weapon
>even on blades

does any museum have actual battle scarred armour and arms? they all seems to be parade pieces made for nobles, i guess that is the problem with genuine battlefield gear they get chewed up and destroyed by combat

i find outfits like the one on the right super hot
shame theyre always worn by chinks
