Both are dull and cold so none of them seems like a pleasant choice.

SPB. I'm guessing the Baltic keeps it less cold and it's closer to Europe.

>it's closer to Europe.

why would it be an advantage

Лeнингpaд

SPB ofc

Kuban or Crimea coast tbqh. Snow is not for me.

>Snow is not for me.

Why did you move to Canada then, mr Ping Pong

>would you rather live in frozen shithole 1 or frozen shithole 2?

I was born here. Once I save up enough money I will buy some land in southern Russia and live there.

Moscow was the most interesting city I've travelled to so far. Would like to go back

Moscow has this Catholic cathedral, does St. Petersburg have any nice Catholic churches?

Attached: 32857923597.jpg (957x1012, 369K)

It's nice because it was built by Poles. Russian church style is meh.

FUCK POLES

Moscow is hotter
>it's closer to Europe
In what universe?

Russia under Peter the Great did a cool thing where traditional Byzantine architecture was crossed with Western Baroque style

if I was rich I would live there t b h

Probably Kuban
I'm in SPB and while i like it, the pale white sky for like half a year is fucking annoying

For me, it's Tomsk

both are too cold for me i will live in sochi

Saint Petersburg.
Closer to the Nordic world.

The sea means St Petersburg is much more windy so it feels colder than Moscow in the winter even if the temperature is higher.

Eastern Baltic has the shittiest winter climate in the world because it's often cold enough to snow but then winds from the Atlantic often warm us enough to melt the snow and turn everything to slush. And because it's damn windy most of the time it feels as cold as Moscow, in practice even colder because it's wet & cold rather than dry & cold like in the inland.

I'd pick Moscow for the less shitty weather.

>the most interesting city
Why?

>did a cool thing

I wouldn't call it cool desu

the best architecture in Russia was always that copied from the west

this, Russian architecture is generally obnoxious but I agree with this poster

>built by Poles
wtf I thought you were baiting but it actually was built by Poles
say thank you, ruskies

Daily reminder that Polish opinions are invalid by default

It felt much more alive and vibrant than other European cities. Everything was bigger. Always some festival going on. Cool architecture

Why would I give a fuck about some cucktholic church? I can only tell you to go fuck yourself. Is that fine?

hard pick

>European city
>canals
>nice buldings
>nice people
>culture
>art
>sea

or

>a tatar camp site

Hard choice indeed

Catholicism would be a solution for Russia. You had a chance in 1610 to adopt this truly European religion and get rid of orthodoxy that keeps you down.

Well, how come it didn't help you? Even before the whole "russian occupation bringing us down", Commonwealth was a shithole behind western countries. I mean for such a state, you didn't really achieve much... And pls spare me your delusions about muh schlahta, muh tolerance, muh democracy. We all know it's a bunch of nonsense and it was quite literally mocked as paradise for nobles and hell for peasants.
Protestantism is where success is. And that's what Peter the Great tried to emulate, but without actually converting, but he should've went all in.

>Commonwealth was a shithole behind western countries.

Because we had too many orthodox lands. Catholic parts of the country were developed. Copernicus was a catholic priest.

Not sure if some people ITT are memeing or not but Moscow is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, but really expensive to live in.

>but Moscow is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe

>but really expensive to live in.

it used to be in 2013 when 1 USD cost 30 RUB. Now it's rather average, like any other capital in Eastern Europe.

Also
>You had a chance in 1610
Yeah, thanks. Being occupied by a bunch of poles doesn't seem to me like a winning strategy... Actual chance was in 15th century when Pope made a direct proposition. But Russians have a weakness, we are too proud... And decided to go independent route, not bending the knee to anyone.

St. Peterburg

as you wish ahmed

Attached: 08.jpg (1100x732, 398K)

>victim mentality Pole strikes again

Leningrad Oblast

And german.

it is not even a question
Saint Petersburg is not only the best city in Russia but also the 2nd best city in Europe (the first being Venice, which is an architectural, structural, and cultural wonder in nearly ever piazza). And before you or some italian tells me otherwise, you need to really think and appreciate it because I also hated Venice the first 3 times I visited, and only after visiting other places did I realize and understand the true meaning of the city.

Saint Petersburg is lavish, European, has decent looking girls, has the Hermitage, has all the palaces, and then has the palaces outside of the city, as well as the monument for fallen soldiers a few metro stops away. It also has the drawing bridges which attract a lot of music and nightlife and nice fireworks. Not to mention the ventian type canals and boats, as well as musicians from every country playing on all streets near the center.
The only thing Moscow has that is better than Venice is the upper level nightlife, which you can grow out of in a year or less. And also, if you are ugly you would never experience it anyway since you get face checked at the door unless you have Natalya with you.

Any way this is from me who lived in Saint Petersburg for 3 months because I had nothing to do one summer after losing my job in Hamburg in July.

I chose Moscow to visit.
Did I make a bad choice?

>tfw thick mist and serene silence at 4 am in spring

oh yes I didn't include the fact that Saint Petersburg port is a wonder for incoming tourists who can only visit Russia without a VISA for 3 days (using the ferry from the Baltics or Finland)
This means you can easily find a tourist that wants to fuck you in Saint Petersburg a day before she leaves because she is in a hurry. And in this time period for these tourists it's impossible to visit Moscow since the time is not enough for a train ride. This also makes Saint Petersburg superior to visit and stay at.

actually, he was a byzantine refugee born on naxos

Toльятти is more like Итaльятти, aхaхaх.

I would live in Kazan and date a qt Tatar gf.

Stavropol sounds better. Why were Soviets so bad at choosing names?

>Why were Soviets so bad at choosing names?

commies had a poor creativity

Because the soviets were communist fanatics. That is why they gave cities the names of communists.

Saint Petersburgians don't descend from Finns, it's a meme
Otherwise all Swedes are Finns then due to some ancestry

>Saint Petersburg has decent looking girls

Attached: ugh.jpg (740x740, 187K)

What are all those Arabs doing there?

They are not Arabs. They are Tajiks and Uzbeks.

are australians welcome in russia?

ar luk da same

Absolutely, just don't bring your spiders with you.

Please

>Protestantism is where success is
>Out of the "big four", only England is entirely protestant, France and Italy are entirely catholic and Germany is split between catholicism and protestantism

What did you mean by this?

White only

Kazan patrician choice

saint petersburg by far.

It's really not even a choice.

>by far
Explain yourself.

what is wrong with moscow, yekaterinburg, kazan or ufa?

it's not poor and overcrowded. They also have white people there.

white westerners are the ones who hate russia the most

>saint petersburg
it's poor shithole filled by white trash hating americans.
Moscow is rich city at least.

piter. reason being: i've met shitloads of people from piter and moskva and i've always found the former to be much more pleasant to be around

Kazan and Ufa are Muslim and not white

Wtf why are there mostly mongols in that photo?

What so bad about muslims, we don't have any conflicts over religion here

>moscow
>russians
kek, it's mostly goat fuckers from the muzzie shitholes

You are not white (I mean, Russians are genetically far closer to anyone in Western Europe than to Tatars) and follow degenerate sandnigger religion, what's so bad?

>Source: AsiaRussia.ru.

I knew there were many races there but wow what a pit.

Yeah I just thought it might be some event.

Дypaк.

Not a bad choice tovarish, just make sure you check out the underground nightlife and various parks like Kolomenskoye and Novodevichy

Caм тaкoй.

Legal and illegal immigration. It is mostly not contained by government (Jow Forums idiots who think that Poo-tin handles the problem any better are clueless), and is actually a significant source of bribes, and a workforce of underground economy.

On national holidays, people living in decent conditions prefer to relax at home, not to travel to the city center and watch some stupid concert. As a result, immigrants use their rare chance to spend holiday in the city.

based and deutschpilled

WE

Saint Petersburg definitely. That's not even up for debate

I saw about a million rent adverts in Spb specifically telling that the landlord ir looking for tennants with "russian appearance", which lead me to believe that problem in OP's pic is also present there. I'd still pick Spb tho.

>That's not even up for debate
Explain yourself.

Moscow is full to the brim with Uzbeks. Every menial labor job, literally every single one, is done by an Uzbek. The metro is chok-full of them. In a sea of 100 faces you will only see 10 white ones.

Tbh both seems like very interesting
But I'd like to six months Moscow and then another six in Spb, and decide.
