It's funny how fast things change in Latin America, 30 years ago Colombia was one of the poorest states run by drug cartels where you could get shot in the street for no reason while Venezuela was the most stable and the richest country on the continent. Now Venezuela is like Colombia back then and Colombia is catching up and changing so it resembles a developed country.

Peru has also been doing pretty well economically just like Colombia. Ecuador is mixed, they also have leftist clowns in power but they haven't actually intervened as much in the economy.
