Anyway this image is a bit misleading. Only like 10 million of those 100 million were even alive by the time British settlers made it there. I seriously doubt the Europeans knew they were going to infect the Natives, considering they believed in Miasma, there's no way they understood germ warfare.
There was a genocide afterwards but the deaths caused by plague and smallpox weren't intentional. They're horrible and incredibly unfortunate, but such is life.
