Using off-chain solutions like Lava Wallet (being worked on by the 0xBTC contract deployer) you can have a certain degree of anonymity with transfers; you just need to do a public on-chain transaction to get your tokens onto Lava in the first place.
But also any Ethereum features that include anonymity (zksnarks or whatever else) will also apply to 0xBTC. Any ETH upgrades apply to 0xBTC, really, so by buying 0xBTC you're betting on the success of ETH and also betting on an increased desire for a pure mined, fairly distributed currency. Both of which are good bets in my opinion, with massive upside potential.
