I've been with a decent amount of girls but I do not understand how it is possible for someone to talk themselves attractive. For example, there is nothing a girl could say to me that would make be find her attractive if I didn't think she was attractive to begin with. I don't understand how someone can go to a party, be considered unattractive, and somehow be considered attractive after certain words.
I get that maybe you're not attracted to someone on your course and after spending months together you realise actually they're an amazing person and maybe they are alright but how the hell can someone turn it around so quickly with just a party or two.

The appeal of height is that it is objective. Two girls could argue forever which one of their two partner's is more attractive but it will almost certainly be clear which one is taller.

In general physical attractiveness is less important for romantic interest for women than it is for men. Still important, but less so. Also depends on the scenario, if the bird is only looking for a one night stand then I think your line of thinking is correct because of the whole 'alpha fucks beta bucks' thing. But for relationships they look for both alpha fucks qualities and beta bucks qualities, so physical appearance becomes less important to them. I think you've got this half backwards - men have a wide variety of physical tastes for example some like thicker girls some like thinner some care about arse some care about breats and so on. It is very rare to find a woman who explicitly wants a man shorter than her or a fat man. Having said that I obviously agree and accept that power/money/whatever has a bigger impact on women choosing men than men choosing women. Still, I think there is a looks threshold that has to be met to get in a relationship with someone if you can't "trick" yourselves into finding them not physically unattractive then I do not know how an intimate relationship could work.
Well if they already find him attractive then him being funny isn't necessary. Obviously at such a low height a significant portion of the female population is going to be off limits to him but if he is otherwise attractive then he is going to do really really well with those who are shorter than him/willing to date someone shorter than him.
