America is pretty isolated. €900 for a ticket to Europe is pretty expensive. Australia is even worst, they are on an other planet.

If you're a hostel type backpacker hippie, you can move around for years in South America or East Asia if you have $50.000 to start.
If you're a hotel type person you should find a job which requires frequent travelling.

Recently its getting cheaper. Maybe they could fly to places like Thailand were everything is cheap. So you'll save some money. I checked and New York- Milan is 380 dollars. A bit more than going to Morocco

Do it. Who cares if its cliche traveling is nice. Also I heard Vietnam is beautiful. Make sure to not go during rain season though.

I don't. I always end up being disappointed. I've stopped travelling and now just rent a small holiday cottage in a remote part of the UK for a week, or at least as remote as I can get for a country as populated as the UK.

The only place I'm interested in but haven't been to is Japan. But considering tourist numbers have tripled to 30 million in the past 5 years, I don't think I'll bother. Over-tourism has ruined a lot of places.

this is true. And if you go to non touristic places you feel like you're starting to fuck up that place too.

I've never noticed an abundance of tourists in America, maybe because in the big cities at least, you can't tell who is a tourist and who lives here

I plan on travelling all 50 states and Canadian provinces, and hoping to see all of the national parks along the way. I'm going to buy a sticker from every gift shop I go to and log my adventures with a camper covered in bumper stickers.
