The vast majority of cancers are preventable from life style changes though, everything from being obese, smoking, not exercising, eating processed good etc. If you don't count potatoes, ketchup, all the little nuts you find in candy bar etc, the average American gets less than 3-4% of their calories from plant foods, and plant foods are the only kind of foodstuff which has shown to have a positive effect on cancer.
