Uh no dude that's not how it works at all. IQ is relatively stable after adolescence. Fluid intelligence decays as a result of cognitive aging from your mid twenties onward. The rate of cognitive decline seems to be altered by risk factors like high blood pressure, obesity, insulin resistance, etc., but you're not going to suddenly drop a standard deviation in the short term from a shitty lifestyle. It's a gradual process.

Cognitive aging is real, but it's exacerbated by lifestyle. The way you live clearly impacts the mind.
