No you wouldn't. At work when it's lunch I walk around with a knife, and a stanley knife. Absolutely no problems.

Honestly I really doubt anything would come of it. They'll only bother you about knives if they think you intend to use it on someone. If you're just going camping or in the woods or something it seems highly unlikely that you're going to be stopped by police, doesn't it.

The state of that country is honestly just sad. I went to London as part of a high school trip and there were two times when Anglos went wild over knives. First, we went onto the London Eye and some guy at the bottom made us put all our knives in a box for some reason. Then we went to a museum and the security guy was all nervous and stuff and made us leave our knives with him for the duration of our trip.

I just mean, if I was trying to take a knife into the woods, or camping or something, I doubt I'd have any trouble doing so. As long as one has a good reason for carrying a knife, even if you're not really meant to have one, police won't waste their time on you.

we have the same kind of laws here but with common sense exceptions if you have a reasonable explanation. for example I had similar to pic related on a train and explained I was on the way to a dive, so they said it was fine and went on their way
