For Slovenia, not much, we were well off before the EU. The economic crisis hit us hard, and since then EU money is more welcome here then before the crisis. I'm glad we didn't experience massive emigration, Slovenian population actually grew around 100k since we joined the EU, which is not the case for all new members.

Positive: better economy, living standards, infrastructure, education and employment opportunities

Negative: high emigration with demographic decline and the nascent start of immigration due to these,
the increasing propagation of western social "values" such as multikulti, tolerance and other shit, the loss of political sovereignty and total economic sovereignty
