i really dont get it. what do people like about this game?
its the most generic fps set in apocalyptic russia(yawn) with story so fucking boring i was literally falling asleep. the dialogue made me cringe so many times its unreal.

It's not generic, because when it came out we only had America fuck yeah shooters (and a few Stalkers). The first game had an amazing claustrophobe atmosphere so it built a fanbase, they hyped the game and normies are now on the train.
