my point was that even the nightlife in Tokyo is bad compared to a lot of cities in Asia, and of course it's even worse in other parts of Japan. nice projecting btw

Seoul, Shanghai, Bangkok or even Taipei are way more fun than Tokyo when it comes to just going out and having fun. Tokyo might be better if you want to go to an underground music venue and listen to local bands or DJs, but it's too inconvenient and overpriced for most other things. also it's annoying how early everything closes in Tokyo compared to similar cities like Seoul
