Barely any Christians live in the Delta. Most of them live in Middle Egypt or Cairo.
People actually think there's a genetic difference between Christians and Muslims in Egypt. It's more of an Upper vs Lower Egypt thing, and coincidentally the overwhelming majority of christians happen to come from Middle/Upper Egypt.
