What are the biggest spiders in your country? Are they dangerous for humans?

I think the biggest we have is the size of a hand, so roughly 15 cm. I don't think we have a single dangerous spider species.

Mexican spiders are not that big but they're extremely poisonous.
The most dangerous belong to 2 genus: Latrodectus and Loxosceles.

Thank god I live in a white firstie country and I dont have to deal with sp*Ders

Spiders basically live everywhere, even in Greenland

No dangerous ones.
The biggest are like a coin size

>poland
>that

What the fuck. For a minute I was hoping that flag was indonesia.

let him go

Cute.
I felt very horrible yesterday, there's been this cute spider living in the bathroom for like 3 months now. Solid lad, never bothered me at all.
Yesterday I was taking a piss while looking at my phone and like a millisecond before I hit the flush, I heard a splash sound and while flushing I saw some spider legs.
It seems the spider had fallen down and I killed it :(

I already did

Not my pic but I found one of this last year. Didn't even knew we had such big moths in Europe

Your map is wrong, spiders live fucking EVERYWHERE, includic Antartica.

Omg that looks fluffy as hell aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

The normal house spider is our largest.
Pic related is a young one, the fully grown get to about twice the size.

The bite from them is like a wasp/bee sting. Hurts but unless you are allergic it's harmless.

Fuck man
This shit actually lives in my country

I did some research and it was probably tegenaria domestica, just a really big one

Based. I have a spiderbro like that living in my house. It's faster than Usain Bolt and I've seen it catch a big moth in the air. He's a good spooder.

They actually aren’t dangerous. Black widows can make it through light winter, especially if they hide near warp pipes and they can hitch a ride on fruit. It is only a matter of time...

There've been a few cases of Phoneutria travelling all the way to Poland with fruits. It's usually been found in the supermarkets by the clients.

>Aside from causing intense pain, the venom of the spider can also cause priapism in humans. Erections resulting from the bite are uncomfortable, can last for many hours and can lead to impotence. A component of the venom (Tx2-6) is being studied for use in erectile dysfunction treatments.

Wtf.... Impotence from erection.......

Bump

i don't get why people get freaked out by spiders. they're amazing and also really helpful at catching pesky pests around the house. just leave them alone and they'll take care of ya'

anyway, here's a whip spider which is a really cool and common spider up here. they dont fuck with humans, they just like to hide in weird places on account of their flat bodies. they look really impressive.

Wow that spider has an alien looking face
I want to get some cute spiders to replace the one I accidentally flushed down, which do you recommend?

>dangerous
you do, towards the suth
can be deadly to dangerous to weak immune system people and kids

*deadly to those but still dangerous to everyone else

jumping spiders. they are intelligent for a spider, and have great eyesight and are small enough to keep in small enclosures etc.

i am no expert on Indian fauna, so you might have to do some research yourself. you also may enjoy keeping a huntsman or tarantula. they are good beginner spiders.

Are spiders friendly after they get used to you for a while?
I know they're apathetic since I've seen a lot of them around me that are very chilled and relaxed

Attached: Arañita.webm (250x413, 250K)

holy shit

Attached: r17.jpg (400x518, 45K)

spiders learn about their environment. i dont think it's possible to train a spider, but they will not pick a fight with you on purpose. they will keep to themselves. if they get spooked, they'll move where their web is. they are solitary. even the smartest spider will not be aware enough to be "friendly"

take a close look at this image

It's been years since I last saw a spider, I think we killed all of them in the city by using venom to kill mosquitoes because of dengue and zika epidemics. All we have now is some daddy longlegs that hide behind the wardrobe

I always liked spiders, we had huge ones of the pic related in my garden back in the day. They were a bit agressive but I find them quite cute

Attached: 768263.jpg (880x660, 84K)

not really because spiders are really dumb but also you have to be a bit of a retard to accually get bitten

t. spider

I fucking hate black spiders.
They're a bad omen btw.

we have something similar here. some make the veil on the grass and others that do it on the sky like in this video
youtube.com/watch?v=Qk0m_fuAvHs
it's really cool

neat stuff, bro!

I dont think over seen spiders much bigger than a coin here.
I think theres some type of a black widow spider here but it's pretty rare and not extremely deadly

I've ever seen*

hello I am here to end this thread so pls stop posting thank you

Why tho

I feel ill

Ive had or. Weaver spiders living outside my window when i lived in a garden level house. They are fuck huge and co looking but super peaceful. One was my bro for months and she kept growing but one day landscapers came by and they weedwhacked her glorious web and probably killed her :(

Largest spiders I've seen in France were hiding behind a ruined wall in the middle of vineyards near the Mediterranean, but I don't have any pics.

We have scorpions where I live though, both black and yellow. Gotta be careful when turning big stones in summer when you are in the countryside

They are not deadly like the same species are in North Africa but they still are venomous enough to make you ill or fuck up a dog or a child

Attached: Scorpion du Languedoc (Mourèze).jpg (1000x562, 77K)

No spider is dangerous to humans

this, stop believeing what you read on the internet, we are... they are completely harmless

holy fuck these are disgusting I'm glad I live where it's too cold for spiders to enjoy themselves

Remind me to never visit france, frequently. I have bad memory

and they can see the andromeda galaxy iirc

>tfw antarctica is rightful arachnid clay

those are giant house spiders (eratigena atrica).
normal ones (tegenaria domestica) are much smaller, but look almost exactly the same. I have one of the small ones somewhere in my flat right now.

Fuck dude, I remember seeing one like this in Sweden while taking a shover. Worst morning ever...

Burn wtf

I wonder who's behind this post.

Spiders are actually closer to robots "mentality" wise than to us. They have their programming that they follow and that's it, some fuckhueg squishy giant is simply not included there, spiders have no reason to bite or attack you, you have to basically "convince" them to do so. I really wish people would stop being such pussies about them, they are amazingly unspectacular

Why are we still here?

Just to suffer?
