Mumbai isn't that much better than Delhi though. But I guess people in Mumbai are more down to earth. My choice would be Chandigarh.

I'd like if Bangalore (my city) would become the capital but I feel like Mumbai would be a better choice.
Chandigarh is clean, neat but it doesn't have any reason for it to be the capital. It's neither a cultural nor an economic hub.

A less crowded city would be better imo. Also the Capital wouldn't have much power if it isn't in the Hindi belt.

I like your culture, your music, your local religions, the scared river where every Indians bath himself in, and a part of India encompasses the kingdom where Buddha began his journey. Did you know that the moutain Kaliash is the only moutain that Buddha visited? It's in Tibet, China now and it's open to visitors. But I still prefer India over it because I don't like China that much.
India holds a lot of important Buddhist sites though, thus it will be the beginning of my spiritual journey.

trust me its not worth it. There are better countries out there to visit.
