Why would I go to Russia?
funnily, this is actually true. I don't know how many people on this board take this as joke. But it happened to me, while crossing over midnight that I had to pay 500 Euro, just these 10 additional minutes. If they wouldn't check everybodies bag by hand like in the late 50s and ask every person what they want in Russia, as if they are criminals, we could've progressed faster.

no it's different, sometimes they use obvious loopholes to trick others foreigners, like letting them wait for ages at the border check ins, or check everything twice and thrice just to let them go crazy or exceed some time limits. Same as other Russians which let you smuggel vodka for them.
