Seems like in Switzerland you kept a lot more of your culture because all of your urban areas are still really close to the countryside because you have so many mountains and lakes that limit city size.
Whereas in England our cities and our countryside are very removed from each other because everything is so flat and our cities sprawl out so much, so we lost a lot of our rural traditional culture.
