NORWEGIAN CRUISE SHIP BECOMES DEATH TRAP FOR AMERICAN VACATIONERS

>The 1,070-foot ship had departed Cape Liberty Cruise Port across the Hudson from New York City about 3 p.m., bound for Port Canaveral, Fla., and eventually the Bahamas three days later. The weather wasn’t superb but also not overly vicious — severe storms in the Deep South and heavy snow in New England, with the Escape set to travel through a more tranquil shield of rain in between. Maximum winds of 30 mph to 40 mph and occasional downpours looked to be in the offing.

>Nothing could have prepared the mostly American passengers for the 90mph freak winds that were about to hit.

>Shortly before midnight, the ship suddenly lurched to port. An onboard video shows passengers — who moments earlier had been celebrating the first night of their cruise — duck and cover as tables, chairs and cutlery became projectiles.

>“Several injuries were reported,” Norwegian wrote on Twitter. “Those guests and crew received immediate medical attention or are being treated by the ship’s medical staff."

Is there any reason to go on a cruise anymore?

HAHAHAHAHA DIE AMERICANS

>AAAAH HELP ME THE WIND IS TOO STRONG
why do americans do this?

Shut the fuck up. Your shit was a fucking junk, thats it.

>BE AMERICAN
>house and entire town destroyed in 20 mph winds
>rebuild your life and move on
>eventually have enough money to take unpaid leave for 10 days on a cruise, Mr Steinstein cancels your health insurance for those ten days "since you're not working"
>only fair, we don't want to become communists
>cruise ship leaves new york and suddenly a deadly gust of 40mph wind rocks the ship
>hit the deck and protect yourself, this ship is about to be blown to pieces!
>the ship gently rocks back and forth
>your entire world has been shattered, this simple boat can withstand wind, the most powerful weapon of mother nature that you were told no structure could ever resist
>sit on the floor blubbering trying to understand how a non-american country like norway has conquered mother nature with their engineering
>maybe, america isn't the greatest country in the world?

Why do Norwegian ships sink all the time?

business idea: amer*can deathtrap boats

WTF I like Norwegian ships now

>that flag
your countrymen diaspora probably built the cruise ship for petty 2 euros an hour

I fucking hate Aussies
but this is so true

IIRC, brick houses would fair worse in tornadoes.

Should've gone to finnish built cruiser

I fucking love aussies

When they started having them built by drunk Eastern European bydlo.

Norwegian Cruise Line is actually american

This message was bought to you by Plasterine©.

Plasterine©! When Matchsticks are good enough!

Where is the proofs? The roof would be destroyed but the rest not.

Americans literally blown the fuck out.

lol

In a tornado Americans would be flying all over the place too that's even more dangerous

This wouldn't have happened if the cruise staff were armed

If it took any boomers with it, then good riddance.

>The roof would be destroyed

Yes that's how houses come apart.
The roof comes off and then the interior becomes a blender of shit regardless of what the exterior walls are made of.
That's why block and wood frame houses have almost the same wind ratings.

As mentioned, collateral damage would be more severe with a break house, also it’s a lot more expensive to replace damages brick portions of a house than it is to replace wooden portions. I believe there’s also some minor things about the wood “bending”. A concrete house would fair way better than a brick or wood house though, although that would be both expensive and ugly

fuckin based

>break house
Brick house, I had to work the midnight shift at work so I’m tired

>Aussie's attempt at bantz failed so badly that he had to use proxies to samefag upboat himself
Better luck next time.

DELET THIS

Stand up and salute for the veterans
Their cardboard boxes wouldnt have withstold those kinds of winds, I love my veterans!

thank you for your service

Yuropoor logic btfo

No shit like this, food poisoning, and hordes of poor trash make it seem terrible. Maybe if you went on one of the expensive ones on smaller luxury ships.

Does anyone have a link to the semester at sea video where everything is sliding across the ship?

Yeah, didn't you ever see the Pokemon episode where they go on the cruise ship and...

>Build and manage a shitty boat
>Can't handle North Atlantic winter weather.

Your Norse ancestors look upon you with disgust.

It was built in Papenburg Germany.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwegian_Escape

>not living in houses made of reinforced concrete

Regardless you have a total teardown and rebuild due ti all of the structural damage and the fact that all of the interior is now fully exposed to the elements.

Chris Kyle is turning over in his grade. Fucking furries are cancer.

>be american
>shoot at tornado to defeat it
>tornado fights back
>get shot

lol owned

It's just the Bermuda Triangle giving americans a good ol shake. They should be happy they didn't get swallowed.

False. True viking blood is in the blood of even our college students.

Look up the YouTube videos.

Why do Germans build crap ships? Is it just to get as many shekels?

my point still stands

That’s a children’s book which I’ve seen a couple times. It’s not uncommon to use animals instead of people in children’s books

Yes but the Poles would have had German management and most likely design engineers.

Dog bless Aussies

Norwegian cruiseline was bought by Americans. The ship, Norwegian Escape, was built by Germans.

Tfw we had nothing to do with this, but our reputation takes a hit.

>(((Ted Arison))) was an Israeli businessman who co-founded Norwegian Cruise Lines

hot take: this post isn't funny but is getting upvote replies because an Assfailian posted it

An Australian could literally post anything and all the cringe reddit Australia fanboys would be gushing and laughing 'AHAHa! I love Australians! x-ddd =333'
