How is smoking seen in your country?
Extremely degenerate and low class. There is this weird Puritan hysteria in this country about cigarettes to the point where in posh upper class circles it would probably be considered more respectable to do coke occasionally than to regularly smoke cigarettes
everyone smokes in both england and turkey
i smoke
blacks etc really do not like it though, you will often see our equivalent of "black twitter" (but instagram) and it will be a post like "you can be a sweet 1 but if you smoke blem (cigarettes) you become a dead ting"
all the comments are just niggers saying ewww smoking is grosssss
It used to be frowned upon but now I see lots of people with juuls/e-cigarettes or whatever they're called
yeah I've noticed America is almost psycho about smoking. Like we know it's bad but they'll be talking about 3rd hand smoking and fake coughing lmao
We produce lots of cigs so many do smoke.
Quite common
this, only degenerates and foreigners smoke at my university
Hangi marka içiyorsun kanka
Yeah I've recently seen articles that swiss cigs exported to morocco are much higher in nic and tar lmao
but many people juul/vape right?
dont get why people waste money on cigs just to smell like shit to everyone around them and increase their chance of dying
Very common but it's on a downtrend because prices are increasing every few months and the laws on public smoking have been becoming more restrictive ever since 2011
Not that I've seen, maybe they do it in their own dorms or apartments but not many people out around the university. We recently changed to a smoke free campus though so that could be why
Paul Mall Fine Cut (40g) yoksa Marlboro 30g Fine Cut, param yoksa Gold Leaf JPS (30g)
ben sigara yapıyorum kağıtlarla filterlerle
ucuzlamış
Yeah that's really the only method to keep it down. The labels and shit don't work. Prices are still low here though.
People vape mid lecture at my uni
bro can i hit that juul just once bro please bro
please bro just 1 hit bro please man i got 5 bucks here man
You are endlessly shamed and people fake cough around you for some reason i dont understand. Basically how all addiction is viewed in america is they are degenerates and deserve anything bad that happens to them, and treatment is blocked behind a huge paywall. Addicts are usually too ashamed to let anyone know because of the harsh attitudes towards it and cant afford proper treatment anyway. It is one of the only diseases you can get yelled at for having and people cheer in the street when an addict dies. Good ol american empathy in action.
based
The way I saw american reactions to smokers is even worse than to alcoholics and more dangerous addictions. is it just the educational system and anti smoking propaganda?
Quite common, especially among students. Uni professors smoke cigars though.
It still is somewhat accepted, but the amount of anti-smoking stuff on tv and in schools is increasing every year. It also is allowed in less places because of stricter laws.
I think smoking is just way more common and out in the open, other addictions need to stay secret. The propaganda definitely makes non smokers think smokers are actively killing them so they get pissed and lose their minds.
i dont care if someone dies through smoking related causes because it is their choice to smoke, in a similar way i dont care if someone drowns after tying cinderblocks to his feet and jumping into a pool. you reap what you sow
>cause and effect exists so no one deserves sympathy
It's seen as a completely normal thing
Almost everyone smoke up here
