Why are Nordics afraid of small-talk?

In Greece, people talk to random people for fun, in Sweden people run away if you ask them what time it is.

Because Greeks are better than other humans

Do you use that pic because you see something wrong there? Would a greek cram himself 30cm from the next person when there is lots of place for everyone? I'm just asking.
Anyways, Norwegians (and Swedes) can small talk, but for the most part they don't with strangers on the street. However if they are spending a lot of time together for some reason, for example a long airplane trip, or a long train trip, or whatever, then it's quite likely that they end up smalltalking. Waiting for the bus isn't long enough for most people to start talking, they have their nose down in their phone instead.

We're not afraid, we're busy.

Because Nords are high-iq and intelligence is linked with asociality.

I love small talk. It's always so nice when an old person or a foreigner start a conversation
