Get decent car insurance. If you are ever in a wreck and need body shop work done, take it to the dealership. If you have decent insurance, they'll give you a loaner that probably newer and nicer than the one you'd get from the rental car place. Since it's their car, they won't rush the job to fit it within the rental car window proscribed by the insurance company and you get to drive a nice late model car with no deposit for a while.
