English doesn't sound Germanic to me.
I've studied French and English since I was little, and while French sounds Romance, English doesn't sound Germanic.

English uses Romance words.
Portuguese doesn’t sound romantic to me, it sounds Slavic
Well, portuguese doesn't sound Romance at all, does it?
Many more people say it sounds slavic.
Portuguese sounds like a Polack speaking Spanish
English is a Frankenstein language, it does not decent direct from Germanic languages neither from Romance languages, but was made up from element of both, that can me noticed by different word meaning the same thing, or a slight or things from the same origin but with some different characteristic, like pig and pork. I read this somewhere a long time ago, I don't have the link to "prove it."
PT-PT, yes cause Portugal have a "closed" pronunciation for vowels and that makes it sound Slavic, but it has none of it.
As the guys in the video says that usually occur when non speakers hear it, cause to me PT-PT do not sound Slavic at all.
its literally a euromutt language, french/latin/german/dutch/frisian/scandinavian all dipped their dicks in it
thank you for explaining based zuka.
all in all, i like having this pronunciation just to confuse americans abroad. they dont know when they're speaking to a russian or a portuguese
This sounds Slavic??
Yes everything down to their inflections sounds Slavic
it sounds like crap
it doesn't to you because you speak it natively.
To be fair, English is a complete rip-off of French in some aspects of grammar and vocabulary
their owd god damn motto is in french
can't get much more cucked than this
i also dipped my dick in your mom
>tf
>tp
Yes
what do you mean?
that yours, too, is a mutt language
not really
Wasn't the first King of what would became England technically french ?
German sounds like a throat cancer, so it's pretty much Germanic in my list
English has lots of Latin vocabulary but every other factor that composes the language is decidedly Germanic
It does trick me for a fair bit of time, but I do realize it's not one of ours.

This English still sounded quite Germanic and similar to old English
>n-no
Portuguese sounds just Russian
Polish is disgusting
>Estonia
>Slavic
yeah the english had mad french kings for a while
Keep in mind that most courts in Europe spoke French as primary language for a long time. That famous Prussian King for example only spoke broken German.
It unironically does
French had no influence whatsoever on English grammar.
>first
A shitload of them, for centuries. And even without that, French was spoken in all courts of Europe, which is why the Dutch national motto is in French, or why some well known Prussian castles have french names.
Russian nobility was so culturally French many of them had to take russian classes
The absolute state of European elites
Interesting, i did not know about that.
My European history knowledge is superficial, nothing so deep, I got to know about this French king of England cause that British kids show Horrible Histories.
That French heritage on English monarchy is something related with them claiming the throne of France in the 100 year war or has nothing to do with it?
As Charles put it.
