The difference is that in fascism the private property was allowed only because that in some parts of the economy it was seen as more fit to achieve the end goal of the system which was the strength of the country, it wasn't seen as a human right or a citizen right.

Its not "too good to be true". Stalin literally did it, as did many others. How to make it a reality is the hard part, and its impossible in the first world. Socialism can only be achieved through revolution, and first worlders just cannot do it. Every solution the first world "left" proposes to a problem is simply to consume more. Only the third world (as things stand right now) can have revolution. And eventually, they will defeat the first world and no longer will the first world be able to get cheap resources and labour from them. At that point, they will have to crack down on first worlders and make them works just as hard to make up their losses. That is the point when socialist revolution will finally break through and capitalism will no longer be possible.
