Obviously no amount of money is enough for the death inflicted upon your family, however we are doing something more important than reparations to specific family members. We give Iraq billions in dollars of aid to Iraq in order to rebuild their nation which is far more important than helping a family temporarily. The reason we never helped Vietnam was for two reasons
1. They’re communist, at the time that was a big no no
2. Many of the families affected by the war crimes were unknown to the U.S military. Poor jungle farmers in the 60s didn’t exactly have internet records to call upon.
