You’re going to run into the same intractable problem that we did in the states. The idea of one big representative government like the US, EU, UN etc to pool resources and money when dealing with problems is powerful, but large nations that contribute more will always run it and basically own the contributions of smaller contributing parties. Naturally, those places aren’t going to accept control from lesser nations or states that contribute less. Why would you? So you’ll monopolize control and smaller contributors will go unnoticed and unhelped. We have the same issue with Cali/NY in the states. Why would a New Yorker want some country bumpkin who contributes nothing to society and mooches off government gobs to have as much voice in the vote?
