legit alternative. missing the meaty crunch though, perhaps some deep fried tofu or freshly seemed broccoli would do the trick. I still prefer the beef variant though, but hey, good cooking is good cooking.

Tbh try some shiitake mushrooms. when cooked right, they have the concistency of meat but provide an all together different aroma. they're awesome!

Perfect that's what I meant. Meat cooks better in those. It's also a good idea to take meat out of the fridge like half an hour before cooking it. So warm spreads more evenly
