Okay, here goes the real slavpunk
this, but unironically
I imagine myself waking up one freezing morning in small post industrial city somewhere in Siberia. The old alarm clock wakes me up. It’s 6 am. I don’t reckognize my surroundings. There’s some old furniture, a squeeky bed and the view from my window. It’s snowing a lot. I get up and i slowly remember. It’s as if my whole life that i know has been a dream. I am not in belgium anymore, my last few years have been nothing but a mere dream. My head hurts, my body aches. It feels like the worst hangover of my life. But somehow i get up. Everyone else in the family is awake too. My father is leaving to work in the old factory. My babushka has made eggs and tea. I greet them and they greet me. It looks like an everyday regular morning. I eat the eggs and drink the tea. I smoke a cigarette. On my way to the bathroom, i see my sister. She’s dolled up again, probably she’s going to meet her customers. She looks like a cheap whore. She disgusts me. I cannot look at her in the eyes, knowing she is the neighborhood whore. Everyone knows, except my father...
I say nothing to her. I go to my room again and get ready. I remember everything now. I am a university student, looking for a way to get out of this freezing hell. I dress up, thick and go to my old university. The building is gray and depressing, it’s it still dark this early in the morning. I smoke another cigarette before my classes start. I go inside, and i see the girl of my dreams, Ekaterina...
She’s the one keeping my spirits alive. Her warm body contrasts her ice blue eyes. I talk to her for a while, but i hide my feelings. She wants me to, i can tell...
(Part 2 later)
High tech low life
That's because they removed all height restrictions and allowed people to build 30 story commieblocks that are 500m wide and look like giant walls - like Nobody gives a shit that the addition of 5k people to the neighborhood with such a building makes it impossible to park or get public service
But if you're a big shot with a few dozen million dollars, you make two phonecalls and there you have it - you can build a block with a thoudand apartments in a national park if you want
Fuck Russia
my neighbourhood in winter
Commieblocks cannot look acceptable due to their architecture and street planning. People favour variety between the buildings, and a nice building density, when houses create cozy spaces or a feeling of a living city on the ground level, and a nice flow of pedestrian traffic. Commieblocks tend to be purposefully low-density, spread far apart. They usually aren't constructed with street businesses in mind, don't create nice streets, and are generally uncomfortable and/or boring to be around. They also tend to turn into ghettoes, and people living in them prefer finding spending their time in other parts of the city when they get the chance.
based and city planning pilled
please adopt
unless i become rich, i will have to leave in one of those in a few years

That's because they are. They are ugly as fuck, and ruin our cities, and we will never be able to fight them. It will take a few decades for a traditionalist revival in European and American architecture to come into full force, and it will take a few more decades until the revival reaches Russia, because there are not enough people here fed up with this shitty 'architecture', or caring about architecture at all.
False
As far as urban planing goes, soviets were good. You'd have large buildings spaced apart with greenery and public space in between. Given the circumstances where they needed to house tens of milions immediately, if was the optimal solution
Today's city planning on Russia is what's retarded (or simply corrupt beyond immagination)
Thirty story "modern" blocks that look like they were designed by a guy that thinks wearing 5 golden chains on your chest is classy, with no spacing in between is what's plaguing Russian cities today
I like pic related with some greenspace in the courtyard.
Forgot pic.
