I actually have a friend who moved to California years ago and tried to work there as a nurse, all he got was a job at Walmart and he was homeless. He slept inside his car daily and went to the gym just to get some shower.

I also have another friend who worked as a caretaker in London and he had to work 2 jobs there just to get by because the cost of living was so expensive and the pay was very low.

I don't agree with the countries you posted, except for Thailand and Indonesia(maybe) none of those countries are interesting from a retirement living. But it's not really what I'm talking about, in the decades to come the poorer countries will provide substanially better services now so even if the are poor in a relative scale the services will be there provided you have the money and can pay for it. And due to differentials in currency it will always give an edge to current rich countries provided the current trajectories continue, so I could retire in your country and effectively be a multi-millionaire.

There is a shortage of health care professionals in pretty much every country in the Western world, it's not just an issue of boomers dying, healthcare requires an expanding workforce as services get better. In Norway about 23% of healthcare workers are foreign born and about 40% of pharmacists for example are foreign born, so the issue is not just related to increase in healthcare professionals for the elderly.
