Is that really how that works? What other foods digest like that? I’m trying to go twinkmode and needs to heavily restrict my daily calories.

I love rice. One day when the climate turns warmer and wetter, I will grow it

Any grass that still has the bran, the outer shell, on it is going to take you longer to digest.
The bran has lots of protein and fiber meanwhile the endosperm wich is the ''meat'' of rice or wheat only has carbohydrates.
I think most whole grain products are with bran, but essentially its the fiber.

If you eat tons of vegetables you get the same effect, lots of fiber & volume = fuller longer
