Football is prominent here so yes

Of course. Mostly thanks to EU4 and Eurovishitposting.
This 2bh. Football helps a lot with geography
depends
I know a lot of people who are embarrasingly bad at geography
I can name all countries north west and south of my country.
But in the east, there are so many irrelevant shitholes, i can't remember them all.
yes
I tend to forget the southern ones tho
Yes, I mean it's not just Europe, I assume most people would accurately know most of the world map except Africa, Central-America and South-East Asia.
i'm not european and even i can do it
Germany
SWEDEN
Norwegen
Finland
Niederlande
Belgien
Portugal
Spanien
Frankreich

Mashallah Bruder how can you forget our Liechtenstein brothers
This but only with black Africa & island countries on Indic/Pacific Oceans
this test is ez pz
try one for asia if that exists
Yes
I know all countries in the world, but usually can't name five to ten. Sometimes I forget Brunei or East Timor. I always miss one of those Palau, Nauru, Tuvalu pacific nations. There's no way I won't forget to say Saint Kitts or Saint.. how's the name of the other saint island in Carribean (no, not Lucia, the other one with two saints). There's the three small African countries, Rwanda, Burundi and... an, Djibouti.
That's basically it.
yes
>Quiz over. You scored 119 out of 141.
>Your score is 84%.
Who did you miss?
The average person? No. The average Jow Forums autist/redditor? Yes.
Most westerners can't tell anything east of Germany and south of the Baltic sea apart.
>Who did you miss?
I was really bad with those smaller countries in the east, like Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia, etc.
>all on their continent?
yes
>world
all that matter
>There's the three small African countries, Rwanda, Burundi and... an, Djibouti.
You forgot Lesotho and these other homeland shitholes in Southafrica that are officially counted as independent countries
idk asia
Monaco
Andorra
Vatican
Kosovo
San Marino
9/10, you missed only tiny countries
I missed all bullshitstans except kazakhstan and something else but I dont remember
Europe
>Quiz over. You scored 139 out of 141. Your score is 98%.
Messed up a bit with the balkans and small cunts (Lexembourg vs Lichtenstein for example)
most would probably stumble a bit in the balkans
Asia
>Quiz over. You scored 92 out of 96. Your score is 95%.
Had to guess a lot of em
I nailed everything except san marino, (no idea where it was) romania/hungary/bulgaria, (always get their placement mixed up if I don't think about it) and the baltic victims of communism (placement mixed up).
of course
you don't know all the asian countries?
Yes but I always forget the position of certain balkan countries
It's easy.
Slovenia connects with Italia.
Croatia wraps around Bosnia.
Bosnia is north of montenegro.
Albania is elongated and touches greece.
Macedonia is a square on top of greece.
Serbia stands on the right of Bosnia, it's the biggest.
Anything else isn't true balkan desu.
i need to study harder :(
Of course. But there aren't that many, and they aren't all that far.
If pressed to list them all I would probably forget a couple. My geographic knowledge is from studying pre '91 maps back in school, and map painting autism simulators, so it's a lot like youtu.be
ez

Depends a bit. Somebody not interested or somebody who his not much into geography usually does not. But most people can name most important countries.
pic related
Wha?
Why did you get partial point and not full? How?
Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Iceland, Uk, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, France, Italy, Andorra, Luxembourg, Vatican City, Monaco, Saint Martin, Liechenstein, Malta, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Chekia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Albania, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Romania, Moldova, Greece, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Kosovo and Transnitria. Did I forgot any?
two points were genuine misclicks, lost points in the tiny SEA countries and the irrelevant -stans
You guys are making me feel like a brainlet for not knowing where every country on earth, or even in eastern europe is.
But surely that's just because this is a board full of geography, language and culture enthusiasts, right? I'm not actually dumb... right?
if you know where the important countries are then it doesnt matter
Do Greeks have any way to write sh, ch?
The only countries you are allowed to forget are irrelevant pacific and caribbian islands
I accidently clicked on bulgaria instead of macedonia.
Unfortunatelly no, and we should since we use use them in speech.
Same as two "l" and "n"
We have many "i"'s though.
Cz is Τσ
Ch is Χ
The average layman is shit at eastern european and balkan geography
