yeah bro adam smith invented capitalism just like marx did communism bro never mind that capitalism existed thousands of years before Smith
real capitalism has never been tried
cheers
*slurp*
>Thousands of years
No. It was feudalism until the mid 18th century.
poo willy
Capitalism isn't just the exchange of money for goods and services mate, it emerged as an economic system after mercantilism (which itself had largely replaced feudalism)
You don't support the monarchy, do you? Sometimes I even forget there is a queen of England. Just don't think about her or hear about her. Only place I hear about the monarchy is here.
bench press tonight, then lasagne ;^)
If you were really a gypsy you'd understand the desire to preserve traditions and keep up the system of living that has existed for thousands of years. Same argument can be said for the monarchy - it's tradition and preservation of culture
meow
too many frogs itt
shite culture though innit
Milton friedman plagiarised his monetarism ideas from the Scottish enlightenment thinkers
wonder how much porn licence will be

Mercantilism is a form of international trade not an economic system

I'm an Irish Traveller, not a gypsy, mate. The queen and her inbred crowd of monkeys are hardly the height of culture. Sure they're not even English. At least appoint a saxon as the king or queen.

smith didn't fucking invent it
don't reply to me, you're too retarded to argue with
politicians won't have to buy porn passes because it poses a risk to their privacy

RESUME THE POSTING OF THE SLAGS
mentally ill, you and him
True, but it was largely the adoption of mercentilism in Europe in the 17th century that laid the foundations of modern capitalism
>The historiography of capitalism can be divided into two broad schools. One is associated with economic liberalism, with the eighteenth-century economist Adam Smith as a foundational figure, and one with Marxism, drawing particular inspiration from the nineteenth-century economist Karl Marx.
ah yes it's the crybaby yank who gets very angry and always says "don't reply to me!!" when he's really upset
True. Monetarism came from the Quantity Theory of Money and was wrong then as it was wrong in the 1970s with Monetarism. Hilarious how Friedman had to abandon Monetarism after Kaldor intellectually humiliated him and proved endogenous money theory as the Keynesians and British Banking School had always known.
It's so funny watching Jow Forumstards quote Friedman on ideas he later gave up.
big fan of egalitarian technocratic meritocracies
not during toil hours lad
redditors existed before reddit
I remember when the queen came over to Ireland. The Gardai siochana were checking under every single manhole cover inside Dublin. It would have been a laugh if she got blew up when she came over.
Sort of agree yea. Plus industrial revolution.

Posting from the toil bathroom. The only true sanctuary within these walls.
ah yes, a Roman or Medieval peasant could easily engage in the free market of goods and services.

I'm a big fan of Kenneth Waltz and the neorealists. Give me a run down of what you remember, I'm fascinated by international relations. But your pic seems to indicate regret?
That's what it would take to sort out the problems though, no other way possible. Would never happen though unless under extremely unlikely conditions. As for monarchism, I just view it as pointless if you have a king or queen that's not even of your own ethnic group.

I don't see how it passes? Some ERG won't back it and then you still need a few of the opposition.
why are americans so fucking retarded and spasticated?
capitalism didn't exist until the beginning of the industrial revolution because prior to that wealth was largely tied to land, and ownership of land was determined by the crown (normally left as hereditary but you could be stripped of your estates or granted land based on the whims of the monarch at the time).
