Our suicide rate spiked in 1990 because of the depression, but it quickly rebound as the markets steadied. 1990 we had out highest ever recorded suicide rate at something above 30 per 100k capita, but since then it's dropped to the lowerst we ever recoded, 13ish per 100k now, and it's on a steady decrease.
