Why is this sea so irrelevant compared to the Black or the Mediterranean? Also, what do you call it in your language?

Because it's a lake.

Where do you get these beautiful 3d artistic maps from? I always find incomplete versions of them but is there a full world map version somewhere?

It doesn't border Georgian CHG cutes

It's 371,000 square km, which is bigger than the nation of Germany.

Kaspijsko jezero (Caspian lake)

It's disconnected from other bodies of water so it's a lake

I don't know. I got it from Jow Forums /his/. I assume it's a computer rendering from satellite imagery.

>It's disconnected from other bodies of water

But you can SAIL to the Black Sea. Russia built a nice canal.

most of these are rendered by random artists. But google earth has a feature to exaggerate the relief profile

Here's a big repository of them I just found, pretty neat but some are definitely higher quality that others.

Kaspische Zee and it is more irrelevant because it's not connected to any oceans so it has less trade use

Some guy called Anton Balazh from Shuttershock if I recall correctly. Someone bought a few and put them in an imgur

Oh h*ck there it is

i hate them so much

Mar Cáspio

We're trying to enjoy maps here man.

Kaspiska havet

I honestly have no idea of what life is like in these countries

Attached: Central_Asia_-_political_map_2008-es.svg.png (2000x1586, 423K)

I heard that they are really chill countries

Literally and figuratively

Because it's meh
>t. swam(and peed) in Caspian and Black seas

it seems so lifeless

I thought it was a lake rather than sea so far..

Why am I always so dumb..

It looks nice.

You're not dumb, in the the rest of the world it's either referred to as a lake or a sea.
There is no universally accepted definition.
Anyway its water is salty even if not as much as the ocean.

What matters is the places it connects
The mediteranean links Africa to Europe, France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Israel togheter to name a few
The black sea links Russia, Ukraine, Turkey togheter
The Caspian sea links irrelevant countries (except Russia and maybe Iran) like Kazakhstan and Azerbijan so it's equally as irrelevant

Marea Caspică.

Morze Kaspijskie

Mar Caspio

Kaspianmeri

Xəzər dənizi

We are irrelevant and nobody like us

you can get off the Great Lakes through
canals/waterways too

Attached: file.png (850x657, 979K)

Canals aren't proper connections. The Panama canal doesn't make the Pacific and Atlantic the same ocean. The primary basins make the sea/ocean/lake.

Check this shit out

Because
1. the only major river going through it is the Volga.
2. It's a lake that doesn't have a river drain, so instead the water evaporates as a way to keep it stable.

カスピ海 ( Caspian sea )

Hazar Denizi - Khazar Sea

kewl map

Baku is the penis of caucasus kek

بحر قزوين (BaHr Qazawayyn)

The iranians who lived at the southern coasts were called Qazawyeen hence why.

Here is Yurop. Unfortunately I can't find a high quality one because the artist only uploaded the USA to Imgur for free, not the rest of the world

thanks, noice

Kaszpi-tenger
Also I heard the surrounding nations are into a heated argument to decide it's a sea or a lake, because maritime borders are different for lakes and seas and that's decide who gets more from the sweet oil out of the sea/lake bed.
