You really think water is free?

and VAT which is like 30% lmao

It's illegal to not give free water here

some do, some dont

What will happen if i don't tip in an American restaurant?

depending on the restaurant and conditions it's already automatically going to be applied to your party's bill

Actually, water is free. But they'll mock you and treat you like shit for picking the free water over the paid sparkling water. It's the Euro version of not tipping.

In Europe you are forced to pay to use public restrooms

Only in certain countries, and I'm pretty sure it's because they're not allowed to serve tap water due to concerns regarding quality.
>refills
Of what? Are you trying to say you'll get free wine if you finish your bottle in the US? How is that possibly profitable?
>condiments

europeans also never smile

If you come back and they recognize you, the waitress will put a booger in your food.

that's actually a criminal offense and can threaten the establishment's right to sell food to the public

Yeah you welfare queen. Shit ain't free!

Do cafes in america really not have in house baristas?

Didnt see a single panini press once when i was there

nothing, they may not like you, but you tip after you get your food so no big deal

any place that makes sandwiches will have stuff like that in the kitchen, I guess you just go to mcdonalds

better than some shitty guess game like in na

They talk shit about Winnie the Pooh and Tiananmen square

Actually water is a very popular choice for euros because we don't need everything to be carbonated and sugarcoated.

They spit on your food if you ever come back

Tap water is usually free but according to a news article comment I just read restaurants in Bern often charge for it. I guess if it's not in the menu the restaurant can't really charge for it (because it had no price). Ikea has at least 1 free refill. Don't know any other place with free refills.

It's the price of freedom.

They will forcefully steal your foreskin.

The employees will grumble behind your back if you ever return, that's about it.

>be
>get

It's basically a hobo filter

They jump u in parkin lot glock glock u know wat im sayin ho

And usually you don't have to ask, they give you free water by default even if you order something else in addition.
