Jow Forumscraft is a Minecraft server populated by the fine folk at Jow Forums, the international board of Jow Forums. The server attempts to create a home in which people may roleplay various nations in the Eras declared by the admin.
There is a discord server for the minecraft server, which is JePWJQY. If you cant find it, add Filiboga#4216. Once you join, read rules and reply to the bot.

Its an Americas iteration this time around, so the Western hemisphere is open to play. Currently, we are reworking a map to have a larger expanse of land for players to build on. here are some sneak peeks
To answer these questions in one post: It will need a official client, and you can buy these as cheap as one USD. And it is vanilla, with some plugins that add a LOT to the server (Guns, trains with working resource packs, towny, etc )

Also, this will be based in the 1800s, starting 1801 to be exact, with some historical founding, but gun tech and stuff will still be loose founded to make things easier
