An expedition to the north pole isn't a critical situation in it of itself so that confused me. Maybe I'm being autistic. and I thought the "walkie talkie" bit was a reference to something specific unrelated. I think I understand what you are saying.

No, the situations that come to mind was family member dying and she not knowing what to do, so does unhelpful things while i'm doing emergency procedure. There were other things like her almost getting mauled by some loose pitbulls in the street and her not realizing because of texting but luckily I was around to snatch her. Another is talking to me while she's driving and veering into oncoming traffic and having such a slow reaction time that I'm forced to take the wheel and save both our lives, and some how after she is denial of the situation.

I can safely say that if she were in a plane crash she would be the most useless person and probably make things worse. She was hot but helpless and I kind of resented her for that. I don't like taking care of people, and when shit hits the fan I don't want people to know what to do and NOT be a a hindrance.
