It means women feel more required to keep up appearances just for their own sake. Likely a man with a place that seems that sparse to her is just renting, has no gf let alone a family to make it a "family home" and doesn't feel like there's any point in decorating the place. But a woman would have instincts telling her to decorate her place, and she would feel psychological pain from living in a place that looked like it was just a glorified "sleeping pod", even if that's all the place really was.
There's an edit of that image where someone has just put some of that cheap, mass-marketable, artless "chalkboard with live laugh love" knick knack type crap all around that same apartment.

At least some of them are legitimate trolls. I'm slow to call somebody a troll because so few people seem to understand what the term is supposed to mean anymore, but I've seen certain Journal users in different articles adopting contradicting positions on the basis of what will get the biggest reaction from other commenters.
But the majority of them are just ignorant underachievers for whom the government is to blame for every ill in their lives. We're talking about the sort of people who think Russia and China are trustworthy by virtue of them not being the USA.

Eh, while I agree n*rmoid and *ngloid deer must be wiped out and fully replaced with red deer, it seems that the Irish elk went extinct after the ice age, so reintroducing it would have to be a jurassic park type scenario.
I would be okay with it though. It would spur the hunting industry for tourism and such and would incentivise keeping the forests large and intact.
