The vast majority of American lend-lease supplies didn't arrive until after Stalingrad when the Soviets had it in the bag anyway

They did laugh at it, particularly the tanks, which they hated and weren't very effective. They weren't huge fans of the planes either. The most important contribution to lend-lease was badic transport trucks. All it did was speed up the war a few months and save some Soviet lives, a thing they didn't care much about anyway.
